Senior DevOps Engineer

Halian is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join its team in Abu Dhabi. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with extensive experience managing production environments, building CI/CD pipelines, and implementing modern DevOps practices. Candidates must currently be based in the United Arab Emirates and be available to join immediately.The successful candidate will be responsible for infrastructure automation, deployment pipelines, container orchestration, and cloud-based DevOps solutions. Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Linux administration, and automation scripting is essential, while exposure to Azure/AKS and the Banking, FinTech, or Insurance sectors will be considered an added advantage.Key Responsibilities:Design, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for production environments.Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration using Terraform.Administer Linux servers, Docker containers, and Kubernetes clusters.Develop automation scripts using Bash and Python to improve operational efficiency.Monitor system performance, deployments, and production environments.Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure reliable software delivery.Integrate AI and LLM technologies into DevOps workflows, automation, and CI/CD processes.Requirements:6+ years of hands‑on DevOps experience supporting live production environments.Strong expertise in CI/CD with end-to-end ownership of build, release, and deployment pipelines.Proven production experience with Terraform, including modules, remote state management, and state locking.Hands‑on Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes administration experience.Strong automation and scripting skills using Bash and/or Python.Practical experience using AI/LLMs within DevOps workflows and automation.Candidates must currently be based in the United Arab Emirates.Immediate availability is mandatory.Azure/AKS exposure and Banking, FinTech, or Insurance industry experience will be an advantage.Strong knowledge of:CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux administration.Bash, Python scripting, and AI-powered DevOps workflows.Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
